Default RE: Gizmo Kit :)

ORIGINAL: Broken Wings

I've decided to try one of these out.

It looks like a good ''everyday'' model.

The web site says the model will take a .91 four stroke. I've got a HB .61 that I want to use in it.

The plug-in wings should make it a good travel model.
you must be looking at another model the Gizmo http://www.dldesigns.net/gizmo.htm will handle a 70 4stroke max engine its really not that big of a plane, its recomended engine range is 32-46 2stroke, its about the size of a Sig Something extra.

I love mine, I have had it for quite a few years I have a OS 46AX and it is a stunt monster, I built mine with counter balanced the tail and made barn door ailerons the stock ones have a slight taper to the wing tips its usually the first plane out on the flight line for me.

I also had to mount the tail servos in the rear of the fuse, to account for the extra weight of the engine for prper balance, without adding any extra weight, I also chose to use a wider gear from H-9 otherwise its a stock Giz.

here is a few pics of mine the origonal white fuse and now a repaired after crashed red covered version the red really shows up in the air, I also had to recover parts of the wings since they sustained some dammage in the crash, but had some replacement stickers handy, the 46 AX really pulls this plane around I use a 11/5 prop .
