RE: Velocity..the newest addition to the fleet.
No CAD program used, I just jotted ideas down on paper and then drew the individual pieces. I stack rough cut pieces together then make all the final cuts stacked up so the parts turn out the same. I cut using a band saw. I do plan to draw it all out in CAD and offer the prints....if it turns out to be a good design.
It should end up being 36" long, 20 wide. (14 wide on the bottom) and 4" thick.
I'll know more on the finish RTR weight as the build progresses....it's going to be a tank, the plastic is lots heavier than wood.
I would love to come to a race some year.
What is the recommended break in on the CY? I got no paperwork with it at all.
I'm assuming natural oil (not synthetic) should be used.
