Break In from Oneill Brothers

1. You must break the motor in on 3 full tanks.

2. Do not go passed 1/2 throttle

3. You should use at least 95 octane

4. The gas oil ratio needs to be 25:1

5. You should run the motor for 15-20 minutes and then let it cool down

5. Let your motor warm up before driving

7. Try to vary the speed as much as possible with out going past 1/2 throttle

8. DO NOT GO FULL THROTTLE UNTIL THE MOTOR IS COMPLETELY BROKEN IN

9. Do not use octane booster, if you can not get 95 octane use the highest octane you can get out of pump

I use these steps with a little added to them.
Before starting the engine pour in a cap full of 2-stroke oil through the spark plug hole then crank the engine over a few times with out the spark plug in place.
1. I use 1 gallon of fuel and quick silver 2-stroke oil (do not use synthetic) 10oz oil 1 gallon gas
2. if you have a tack do not rev over 5500. Break the engine under the load of the prop that you are planning to use.
3. I use the trim on the remote to vary the engine speed with given it a few 1/2 throttle bumps. Longer bumps as the engine becomes broke in.
These are high performance engines, they need more oil than your weed eater, 8-10oz per gallon. I have tested many different oils, stay away from the off brands and cheaper oils. Strongly recommend using Quick Silver.
