Default Funtana 125

I got my Funtana 125 a couple of weeks ago, Ithought Iwould have it done, other than it is major tail heavy with the FAA-125. Even with the lightest possible set up it still comes in at 8 lbs AUW.

Ithought Iwould post some of my modifications and see if any one has other ideas for lightening or balance, other that the dreaded lead.

My set up is
Engine Satio FAA-125
Servos Hitec HS 5625MG
RX Spectrum
Battery NiMh 2700Mah

I started with a Lion battery and reg, but changed to the 2oz heavier power set up mounted it on the left side of the motor box to help balance. Iadded a aluminum spinner (+.5 oz). I then removed the rudder servo from the tail, and installed it pull/pull . I made a light ply tray for the servo where the factory equipment tray should be. Ithen got more creative looking for a little more forward and moved the throttle servo forward into the motor box. with all this Imanaged to get the CG to the most rearward recomended CG point of 6.75 inches. I though about hanging the battery under the engine but Iam concerned about transfering that much vibration to the battery pack and that the wire run will be longer. any other ideas would be appreciated.
