While I wouldn't call the Reaction the world's prettiest model for a trainer there are limited options to avoid using a pipe, high tail, split tail, engine on top or a twin boom layout like the wheelbarrow - oops, sorry, Boomerang.
Besides, being a kit, if you don't like the look of the Reaction you can change it until you do like the look. The Reaction layout is even used by a few full size jets including the Squalus. - John.
