Concerning your engine choice, the ASP series is the same engine as the Magnums with the ASP name. I have several Magnums including the one you listed. I have always been very pleased with mine. Very dependable and easy to start. The outside finish is not as good as an OS or Saito but that's not important to me. I have flown the .91fs now for 2 years as my weekly flyer without issue and if I were building this plane, that's the engine I'd use although it may or may not hover it depending on how heavy you buld it.
