Default RE: mamba is good...no?

If you wanted to run a touring car or a really light 2WD buggy for short periods of time you could run this motor on 3S. I doubt the rotor would come apart because you will not get anywhere near 100K RPM with car running on the ground. The major problem you're going to have is heat build up. You might get 2 mins of run time before the motor gets too hot to run in one of those light weight cars. The Firestorm is too heavy for that motor. You're better off with a 5700 geared really low for normal driving then gear it up for the Speed runs.

I personally have run a 7700 on 3S in a light touring car but the motor temps where exceeding 180F after 4 mins races and that was geared pretty low. I found I actually was faster running a 5700 on 3S with more gearing. The motor also ran in the 160F range.
