RTV is Not Fuel Proof
This has actually been scientifically proven to be a myth. RTV is nitro proof, and it is stable when exposed to not only nitro fuel but the pure components of nitro fuel (methanol and nitromethane). RTV is absolutely insoluble in that environment.
