It could be that your adding the reducer too late? Should it be added when the parts are first mixed?
I've used acetone with epoxy glue. Laquer thinner seems to not want to mix.
Reducers are usually more than one component unlike using just acetone or laquer, there might be MEK or such also added to it.
Try again RJ, it should turn out okay this time. I'm just glad to here its not sitting in a gooey mess that wont cure.
