Here is a great way to mount your cowling....

Easy...simple... You may even paint your screws with some generic paint that is a close match and blend in the shiny screw heads!!
TO GET a DLE30 to fit...try mounting it not only inverted but also at the 7 or 8 oclock position to maximize width/angle geometry....
