Hi, I am trying to design a model of a Boeing 747. I intend to use 4 electric ducted fan units. I am unsure of what airfoil to use. I would like to keep it as scale as possible, but I'm aware that the airfoil on the real 747 might not be suitable for a model. In addition, I would like to have all of the control surfaces on the wings functional. Do the flaps and slats operate independently? Are there any good sources on the web to find out more information on this airplane? So far, all I have is a .3ds file of the airplane, and a demo version of Compufoil.
