RE: AR500 2.4 question
Doug - do you mean AR6200 by any chance? The AR6000 is a park-flier only receiver, DSM instead of DSM2.
I've used the AR500 in a Thunder tiger powered Q500 for quite a few flights, had no issues until the one I caused by flying the plane into the ground...
Most of my race planes have AR7000 receivers in them, though. Having that satellite receiver gives me a little peace of mind. I also run 5 cell NiCd (not NiMh) packs in mine.
