My Slash 4 X 4 screams across the grass with no problem. It does like to do the occasional front flip or two or three when it hits something over an inch. Go with the VXL Stampede or EMaxx, then upgrade. Stay away from the stadium trucks in grass, the will tend to wheelie a lot and not turn. I.E. hit crap.
