Thanks for chiming in. My thought at the moment is to go with the stumax 110-52 as I have one without a home at the moment, and agree that the small dia will make things a lot easier. You never know, but the time I get to putting the plane together Stu may have another development in that same size shroud to take advantage of. I have experience with a eturbax in the JHH A7 and space was really at a premium, not only for the packs but all the control horns in the wing, servo/rx in the fuse, etc. I've seen a couple videos of the Maverick on the stumax and feel that the performance is ideal for a sport jet.

Now that I've gone with the higher blade count, it's tough to go back. Not ruling out the BV fan, but it's not leading the race.
