First time I bent my own wire landing gear I heated it up and did one of the best jobs I have done to date. First landing both wheels went south on me with the axels still attached. It was pretty ugly!!
I have tried to temper different metals over the years but really stink at it. In tenth grade metal shop I had to learn tempering by making different tools, never worked for me, we were using the color chart, I'm color blind!!!
