RE: Build your own PBF (Pizza Box Flyer, Flying Pizza Box)
Well, I had all the materials, servos, ect lying around as well as an OS40FP that is basically new, so I built a PBF. Its 24 wide by 23.5 long weighs 2lbs 7oz and is now my new favorite plane!! The first two flights were in insane wind of 15-20kts and it flew, but it was a huge hand full. Today I put in 3 more flights and already am comfortable enough to be trying to drag the tail on the ground in a hover. I love this thing. Super durable also as I got it into a mind boggling spin from 40ft up that I couldnt seem to recover from causing a nose straight down crash onto concrete. The only damage was a broken prop and spinner. Does anyone know how to recover from a crazy spin like that?
