I would discuss the issue with this pilot before proceeding in full, as you don't know if the airport is aware of and allowing his flying there.
I kinda get the feeling that this suggestion won't be taken.
At my field, we sometimes have the opposite problem. Full-scale pilots that seem far, far too curious about what we're doing.
