I still say 9C. It may cost you a little more now. The 9C however is leaps and bounds ahead of a 7C. Don't think the 7c is a 9c with two less channels. They are not even in the same class. IMHO.
And not to forget, it is the easiest radio I have ever seen to program!! I do admit, I really like my friends JR 9303 but maybe because it programs sort of like the 9-C?? I really don't like the price tag though!! They want a lot of magic beans for one.
