I own DX7, Futaba Fasst, and a Airtronics RDS8000 and they all work well. About the only 72mhz system I would ｕｓｅ ｉｓ ｏｒ ｂｕｙ ｕｓ ｄ ｉｓ ｔｈｅ JR XP7202 using the 790 receivers which allows you to change channels easily. Go with a 2.4 system even if it costs a more in the beginning，ｂｕｔ ｙｏｕ ｗｉｌｌ ｌｉｋｅ ｉｔ ｂｅｔｔｅｒ．
Like ACDC said go with 2.4 now if you can. If you don't in a year or two you will be finding new recievers for your old planes for the 2.4GHZ TX that you just bought.
