Default RE: what motor do you recomend

I have purchased a fair number of items from http://www.thundertiger4u.com over the years, and I've always been happy with their customer service.

With regard to the GP-42 or the Pro .46 engines, however, it might pay to shop around:

http://www.radicalrc.com

http://www.paulsmodelsupply.com

http://www.canyonhobbies.com

Paul's Model Supply is also an excellent source of Thunder Tiger parts if needed. You can call and talk to Paul. He knows a lot about RC engines of all makes and can help answer questions.

If you decide on a Super Tigre GS-45 engine (also a good choice), remember to throw away the exhaust gasket that comes with the muffler and buy extra nuts so you can double nut the bolts on the exhaust manifold as well as using thread lock on them. I like my Super Tigre engines, too. It can be a challenge to keep the exhaust system bolted on, however, if you don't follow the above recommendations.

My order of recommendation:

1) TT GP-42

2) Magnum XLS .46A

3) O.S. Max .46 LA

4) Thunder Tiger Pro .40 or Pro .46

5) Super Tigre GS-45

If spending $139.99 on an O.S. Max .46 AX sounds like a good idea to you, you should really treat yourself and visit http://www.enya-engine.com and order an Enya SS40BB TN instead. It'll cost you about $157.70 at today's exchange rate, but it will be the best $18 upgrade you ever bought. Your kids' grandkids will be able to fly the Enya. Folks who think that O.S. Max makes the best glow engines usually have never tried an Enya or Webra.
