Speaking of loss, had a rather rude April Fool's day morning - the total loss of my first 59'' Revolver. Was running an OS FS-70, had just spent a week working on it, shortening the engine box. First flight back, about 2 mins in, was doing Cuban 8's - on the fifth or so loop I went inverted, pulled up to come around and lost control - still not sure what happened - it just started spinning straight down and I could not straighten out. Nosed straight in - the plane exploded on impact (as you can see). Fortunately I have another 59'' and a 70'' Revolver to get me by, but still painful and a shock. Happens so fast. Well, it's part of the sport.
Now, what plane to get to take it's place. A second 70'', perhaps?
Might have had a touch too much elevator throw. I've had mine snap out a time or two. I've decreased the elevator throw quite a bit. at 100mph it certainly doesn't take much....
