Trying to save a few cents here and there and now I'm in pickle. I bought a Tamiya Sherman vesion came with metal chassis, running gear and motors. I've picked up the following:
Tamiya DMD control unit T-01
Tamiya MF-02 Multi function unit
Associated Electric receiver TR203A (2 channel, 27 mhz)
Matching 27 mhz crystals in transmitter & reciever

Nothing happens. I have power to the DMD units T-01& MF-02, verified via LEDs. I've plugged in the rudd & throttle from the T-01 into the receiver but no commmand inputs are working.
Thoughts? What powers the receiver? What is this newbie missing?
