Yes with qualifications. The swarf and dust from CF is nasty and will cause cancer in Californian lab rats and at the least result in "mega itchies" in humans . I would strongly suggest that you wear PPE (at the minimum a particle mask) and do the job outside on a windy day, (with the wind at your back), to disperse the nasties. When I cut or drill CF I do so with hand tools if possible with water running over the job. If this isn't a viable option at least set up your shop vac to suck up the particles as you go and do the work outside.
