I have a great brushless setup for my zigzag3 ... I custom built an outrunner motor mount.. and I am using a RC TIMER BC1712-13 2000kv outrunner... on 2cell lipo with mamba 25 esc.. with 20deg advance timing and everything including the esc is cool to the touch.. I get 20 min runtime from a 1250mah 2cell lipo... boat is alot faster than stock and is very stable and a great running boat... only problem is when I put in a 3 cell the esc overheats and shuts down.... but the 2 cell setup is excellent.... I can't wait to get a larger 2000mah or bigger heli battery to get 40min runtimes.... hope this helps someone out there because it took awhile to find the right combo for this boat...
