Default RE: Which prop to use

I use the following setup on my Escapade and its right on the money.
Unlimited vertical, fast, plenty of thrust/punch, cruises sweetly at 1/2 throttle.

Motor:
Eflite 46
670KV
4S to 5S LIPO
40 Amps continuous
55 Amps burst 15 seconds max

ESC:
Castle Creations Ice75

Prop:
APC 14x8.5 Thin Electric

Battery
4S 20C 3200ma

Full throttle static test is 55 amps meets motor spec for burst current
Using Eagle tree logger:
Max amps on takoff and agressive manoveurs = 55 AMPS meets motor spec for max 15 second burst amps
Full throttle in flight MAX 40 amps meets motor spec for max continuos amps
Average current draw about 15 - 20 amps
Flight times of 8 minutes using 80% of battery.

Ice 76 Esc was mounted internally on the battery tray and its datalogger showed only a 15 degree C rise above ambient - barley warm
After 8 minute flight motor was only slightly warm to the touch.

A very sweet setup.

I did beef up the landing gear section by removing the balsa sheeting between the landing gear ply and wing saddle and landing gear ply and firewall and then laminating with a sheet of 1/8 ply from the wing sadlle to the firewall.
