i realized this as i have opened the engine but it is abit hard for the piston to move

so now do you have a solution to the problem as the piston does move?

Does the piston move when you turn it with the rotostart? If no, it's most likely the one way bearing in the starter case(on the engine). If yes, then the problem is not the starting system. Is it any harder for the engine to turn now than before(when it ran)?
