find out how long the original is first. Like the USS Missouri am work on is 1/192 scale. The real one has a Length:887.2 ft (270.4 m) and a
Beam: 108.2 ft (33.0 m).
887feet x 12(inches) + 20(inches) / 192(scale) = 55.541" scale or 55 1/2",
beam you do 108 x 12(inches) + 20(inches) / 192 scale = 6.8" Hope this helps
