RE: R/C BOATING FOR ALL
The diversity at different ponds varies. My impression is that the % of African Americans is low when compared to the % by population. But if you check the numbers the % of woman boating is also very low as a percentage of population too.
I am not sure if boating as a hobby holds less appeal to African Americans (this certainly seems to be the case with Woman in boating). I know in the full scale marine industry there are very few in attendance at sailing regattas and boat shows.
I think your wrong about the woman parts.. In my opion you dont see much of girls is because the attudes of men.. I should know... I ran into this proublems.. You got guys think girls cant do anything attudes and them harrassing& picking on them to. If its somthing for the guy to do and a girl want to do it,you know what happends. Guys saying stayout girls not aloud.
