RE: rc plane mid air with full scale plane?
It doesnt matter whose field it was. There were two Human lives hanging on that parachute. The plane is a toy. Thats it, end of story.
The sky is a very big place and a collision between a parachute or a full scale plane and a RC plane is absolutely unaceptable, and will always be the fault of the RC pilot no matter the circumstances. These models are so much more maneuverable than a parachute or a full scale plane that for them to even be close to a collision with a full scale plane would have to be considered intentional.
