A2E8 .... one of 300 bound for the Red Army in Manchuria and Operation August Storm but "left on the docks" when the Japanese Surrendered. Purchased as "training tanks" by Canada for the low low price of $15,000 each (70 percent off "manufacturer's cost" I believe). We had to give all our Korean M4A3E8's back to Uncle Sam when hostilities ended, and couldn't even smuggle one home with us...... [
