Congratualtions! End of August.... It sounds like your instructor is one who will teach you well. You MIGHT be able to solo sooner, but take advantage of what this guy has to teach you.

Flying is so much more than taking off and landing, but guys today are so anxious to say "I soloed" that they don't learn all the other stuff. (Like rudder control! )
