Default RE: Need help on I.D. of this vintage hydro

Is the foam a dark brown color? I've got an idea that it's a Ed Hughey boat from that era as we had another one in here recently just like it. Ed is still around and living in Indianapolis, I met him last September at a race. He's known more now ofr his great flex cables which are keeping him busy but he and his brother went the electric boat route.
The foam that he used, I don't know what kind it is but it's tough as nails and has a hard shell to it. The wood should only cover the insides of the sponsons.
I built a Hughey .21 'rigger kit way back in 1979-80 and the fit of the wood and quality was fantastic back then.
