This was the last action of the JG 301 on Ta 152. Rests of the Geschwader attacked Russian troops in the Berlin area. Pilots on Ta 152 made once again the high cover for the FW 190s. According to Walter Loos Flugbuch, they took off at 1550. Loos flew that day on Ta 152 "4". And so, when Russian fighters attacked the formation, German pilots attacked them too and were also successful. Ofw. Walter Loos shot down one Yak-9. It was his last victory during the WWII and fourth on Ta 152. Also Uffz. Willi Greiner from 12./JG 301 (flew Fw 190 A-9) shot down one Yak-9. These were the last claims of the JG 301 during the World War II. Walter Loos ended his flight No.876 with landing at 1655.
