RE: Airtronics Radio
Dick, a coworker of mine recently got back into flying and joined the club. When he did, he bought the Airtronics radio. He claims that he is very pleased with the overall quality and function and the receiver price is great. I was personally impressed with how much radio he got for the money. I definitely like it better than my old DX-7.I think I've seen a couple others at the field too with no complaints.
I am also very happy with my Futaba 8FG. The only down side to it is the initial price I think. It will be more than enough radio for me for quite a while though.
