RE: what do most of
Well, sensored systems are very smooth. No cogging, because of the fact the rotor position is always monitored by the sensor-hence sensored motor. Makes take offs from neutral to quarter throttle very linear.
Make your power output curve looksomething like this. It is a bitexaggerated, but you wantit to be a curve from lower left corner to upper right corner. This will givesmooth throttle from neutral to one-third throttle, which is where I am, in regard to power for drift. The upper one third I seldom, if ever use.
I don't know what motor size you use, but I'm using a 5700 Kv motor at 70%. I also am using a 6900 Kv motor, andthe total output is at 65%so depending on the size, play around with total percentage, until you find ahappy medium.
Check motor temps while you do this, and try tofind a good adjustment that keeps temp down as low as possible.
Also, call the Castle tech guys. They may suggest something different. These settings work for me, they may not for you. It's all trial and error.
