Thanks for the good comments! I'm the one who painted the body . Veron, there are 4 layers just on the blue part of the body, I painted the edges and shadows black then I put some Faskolor Fasflip Jade to give a nice color effect. Then some green on the edges near the black and finally the blue. For the chechered, I just take some Fastint to make the shadow effect and then, I paint the black and white. The flames, I begin on the front with a Pearl candy red and then some red/orange/yellow/white. The bumpers are painted with Alclad II chrome, the door handles are black and the lights are also painted. I then back everything with Faskoat. Finally, the side and rear windows are tinted.

It's not a simple task to paint a RC body but the final result is what makes me doing it again and again!

Yes it arrived before the weekend, but was a little bit to short and didn't feel right. So i have another one coming in soon from the us that is a bit longer. The one that was a little bit to short was only 22,5inch (i hoped the whole time it would work still even if a bit short). The next one will hopefully be a good fit. Ok, i can use the one i got, but it doesn't look perfect, nose ends just by the front shocks, rear ends just about where the airfilter ends. Nonetheless i have made fastening points to the rear and modified it a bit, but still have the front fastening points to do, and i just put it aside waiting for the other shell to come.

Should be at end of this week hopefully, or the beginning of next week. It's about a week and a half from the us when they send these big packages, and thats sad but there are customs at both sides etc
When i got my tune pipe from england they sent it friday afternoon, i had it monday morning, and that was fast [sm=thumbup.gif][sm=biggrin.gif]

About that great painting of the shell on this thread, i sure wish i had a good airbrush and some fantasy knowledge to make use of it and be able to create something like this, it looks so great and I'm just about fed up with those spraycans I really would like to start airbrushing my shells soon.

if you get the new front chrome bull bars that will be a truck complete and hard to beat with the paint job roll bars and chrome front bull bars you would need a security guard with you when you take it out it would be that cool.
the best MT paint job for sure !!!!

Damn[:@]. Now I have to rethink the color scheme I will be doing my MT in. Not sure if it will work but I've got a couple foot of lexan that I can test my ideas on. Would have looked better if I had beaten you to the air brush[&o].
