Default Kangaroo Jet Crash Video

[link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/Jet_crash_video/m_1101807/tm.htm]Remember this Kangaroo crash?[/link]

I got hold of the tape and made a better version with increased resolution. I also added some flying before the crash and footage of the wreck.
...And yes, as seen in the video, the roo can do knife edge flight!
The cause of the crash was wrong rudder input. Even good pilots do mistakes

Reminds me of the intro to the 6-Million Dollar Man.

P.S. At that price you could get the arm or maybe the eye for the cost of a house in California. I already have the Bionic Woman's ear so I'm good-to-go in that dept.

Are you sure Steve Austin is a pro westler?

Well it sure does look like he simply applied right rudder (or no rudder at all) instead of left. Earlier in the video, the Roo has no apparent difficulty maintaining sustained knife edge flight. Very nice quality video!

You need a Firewire port and an appropriate cable to connect your DVC to your PC.

If your PC does not yet have a Firewire port you need to get a card that builds into your PC...

The sound of the jet hitting the ground at that speed with so much force just makes me cringe; it completely dissinegrated. Nice video though.

our club president does knife edges with a .25 trainer with a .40 in the nose. it's a balistic missile. and he came within a metre of the ground on a pass. would have gone like the roo in the video. our club dosen't have any jets, but the nowra club has a few(heck, they own 2 sites, one has a tarred runway, float plane lake and seperate flying area for pylon. and they pay for it in fees!). we rent one feild, with a grass strip(we mow it ourselves, saves about $10 000 a year!).we have mostly IC flyers, i'm part of a small band of EP flyers(about 15) and there are about 11 heli flyers.

well, they did'nt find all the parts, the landing gear is still out there
There where NO usable parts found.

The engine where found 300 meters away from the impact site

Strangely, there where no debris in the impact hole.

Am I using the word 'where' correctly? hehe
