Thanks ! I've been to a number of Iowa RC clubs and think it's probably one of the nicest. We are able to fly all year round because the club house is heated (and has AC), 2 TV's, DVD player, refrigerator and assorted RC related movies. It's a home away from home and the paved runway sure doesn't hurt either :>

Club House? Were lucky if our frequency board is still there when we get there! It almost got knocked down by the irrigation equipment once.

I had a question?

What causes the wavy lines in the upper right corner of some wireless videos, I have seen it on other peoples videos as well?

That is the sunlight oscillating through the prop blade. It's more noticeable at certain prop revolutions.

That is a cmos camera, right?

The quality of the image... color and saturation, were really good for a cmos camera, can you tell us which one it is?

Regards,
Bill

It's the Aiptek DV 5100 purchased at Walmart for $75 dollars. Some stores are charging upwards of $100 dollars. It comes with about 5 minutes of built in memory so you will want to consider purchasing either a 256 or 512 megabyte SD memory card for it that will give you between 30 - 1 hour of recording time.

The Aiptek 5900 is a new model and can also be purchased at Walmart. It's a little taller and a tad heavier but I think it can do 640 X 480 at a full 30fps. The 5100 manages 340 x 248 at 30 fps and 15 fps at the 640 resolution. A great camera for the money, especially if you consider the image quality of a wireless cmos camera at the $100 dollar range.
