Default RC Heli photo setup, Check this out!

Hi,
I saw this great setup on a photography forum. The photographer is new to remote-controlled setups but found a remote-control hobbiest who has the system set up. I'm new to the subject too. I was wondering if any of you could check this link out and tell me what it all is (don't worry about the camera info so much, but, the helicopter setup, the pan and tilt setup, cost, where to get it, how long it would take to learn to fly it, anything like that).

http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/re...ssage=18989144

Thanks,
Richard

The maker's name is on the foam cover on the skids of the camera mount. It's Helicam Solutions. That whole undercarriage is removeable so it should fit a number of helos that can carry its weight plus a camera you choose.

Wow, thanks for that info. I didn't even notice that the name was showing.

Does anyone know where complete RC heli packages for shooting digital stills and video can be found? I have never been involved in remote heli's before but I'd really like to have this capability for my photography.
Also, does anyone know what the total cost for such a setup would be, excluding the cameras?

Thanks
Richard

SENECA I should pay you as I'm never over here. We have complete professional or just hobbiest packages on our site at www.airfoilhelicams.com Thanks for the plug.

Watch RR for a video from one of our systems that will be posted Monday. It's as wild as it gets.

John
