Default av platform

After being out of rc planes for seven to eight years, I returned to the hobby this past summer. Retirement is near and I should have more time to indulge. I consider myself an intermediate flyer after having flown about thirty different models that I built from kits.

My question is for suggestions for a plane to carry about an eight ounce camera. It's an Optimus four mega pixel video camera about 4x3x1 inches in size. Gas or electric would be fine, but I am leaning towards electric. Since I am not up to snuff on electric, motor size, esc, where to mount and such recomendations would be appreciated. Any advice will certainly be appreciated and I will extend thank you's in advance.

Welcome back to the hobby.
FOr a good reference for a plane look at the post (prefect platform for aerial photography).

I thing it would be a good starting place.
