flycamone2 3 seconds of recording?
[font="Arial"]ive just got a fly camone v2
several issues
1) the screen doesnt display some parts of the letters. e.g. PC becomes FC
2) the camera wont turn on with the sd card in it, but turns on just after the card is removed, and will then stay on bu
3) it wont record more than 3-4 seconds of anything. nothing appears on the sd card
ive heard that this is because od HCSD cards, which i am currently using. im using a 4gb sandisk ultra 2 15mb/s SDGC card.
anyone know of these problems and how to solve them?

Try a 2g card I had probs with the 4g.
also I had probs with the new cam not recording after a few secs....the battery was flat check my other post.

ive just opened the flycam up to find a liquid lipo battery :S
im gonna make a 3cell 1200mah nimh pack for it, if not ill use a 600mah gameboy li-ion battery instead
im not particularily bothered about weight so no worries there...
ill also try a smaller card.

I got 23 minutes fo recording from a full charge. Normally I need five or so minutes but one time I got several sessions of three to four minutes in one day and it was still able to record. Consequently your problem might be a lemon. I do know my FlyCamOne2 doesn't like the 4Gb cards and 2Gb cards work just fine for me. I have video links on YouTube of the videos I've made from FlyCam... there not great but the weight sure is.

update:
the lipo battery has been replaced by a 4 cell nimh/dry cell holder.
it now takes video, but still rejects the 4gb card. it accepted a cheapo 1gb card.
however, the screen has now stopped working entirely, and im losing patience and thinking of just binning the whole thing

Forgive me if Im wrong, But the Lipo in the camera is a 1c 220ma thats 3.4 volts and you have put 6 volts to it and now wonder why the LCD is totaly dead....the camera is next..I killed mine with 2 c lipo..

Hi guys - my flycamone2 did not last long and had all the symptoms of a dead battery so I got a replacement battery from Hobby-Lobby.
Does anyone know how to open the case and change the battery?

I just received my flycamone2 and attempted to record a flight. There was nothing but colored lines all over the screen on my computer when trying to view my video but the sound was there. I was using the UR mode. Is that correct? Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?

Same here....colored lines and a useless cam 
I'm pretty sure its the device driver as the cam is listed as a mass storage device now instead of the cam it used to be listed as. The driver they supply is an .exe so you can't point the device to use the correct driver....i'be been trying for 3 hrs

I have 2 flycamone2 one is new in the box and the other I have had out for one day. I was going to use it for the dash of my car. my problem is I use a Mac and It doesn't seem to work good, as for the downloading part.
