It's hard to tell from that pic but it LOOKS like it's basically a delta wing with a deep belly fin. Yes?

If so I think it'll fly fine but landing with that belly fin will be..... oh...... "interesting"....

Raptor,

I have been toying around witht he idea of building the Millenium Falcon, as a lifting body, but never got round to it. Along the way I found that the X-Wing hase been built and flown, so I think you do have a good chance of making this fly. Although of course, it may not be perfectly to scale.

IF its close to scale, it willprobably be a "hot" flyer, with high stall speed, unless you build it really really light. Just my opinion.

Good luck with this project, hope to see it flying succesfully

Raptor:

Second law of aerodynamics: Given enough power ANYTHING will fly.

Well, I'm happy to see I'm not the only one thinking this way trying to build a spacewars ship.

I really want to build a Tay-fighter.
been busting my head for year about how to do it.
best idea I've got so far is to work it like a helicopter since there are no horizontal lift making platforms.

any thoughts on that one?

p.s.

I would love to see some rc starwars bird if any of got some.
