Basic Design Software?

As I "mature" in this hobby, I find myself growing more and more fond of the basic aerodynamic principles/engineering/design that are inherint in RC. That being said, is there any basic CAD software available that is centered on the needs of an amateurbuilder/designer of rc aircraft? I'm not looking to drop major money on some overly sophisticated programjust something that would allow me to mess with basic airfoil shapes, generate a rib set, former set, etc. Is there anything like that out there? Thanks!!!</p>

Yes there is, if you check in the scratch build and cad design and the top of this forum there are stickies with just this type of advice...

There is a free version of Turbo CAD available [link=http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1557294]here.[/link] It's a full CAD program so a bit of a steep learning curve, but it's capable of pretty much anything you'd want to do for model design.

I use turbo cad myself. Using turbo cad and profilie you can do pretty much anything as far as model design...
