just a ?
hey everyone, just a ? about size and munuverability.if you had any airplane that did not knife edge well and added lenght to it and not height would it knife edge better?like a 60 size plane with a 38" lenght and 3 1/2 '' high, making it longer by say 10''.

RE: just a ?
The increased length will give more rudder power but unless there is lifting area on the fuselage up front it won't help much. Notice most modern pattern airplanes have a lot of area forward of the trailing edge of the wing. This gives them lift in knife edge. Adding fuselage height with a light foam block (streamlined of course) would be a quick test of whether or not the extra fuselage height would work.

RE: just a ?
Roger that girlfriend.....more area from the (rear of) the wing forward. I've used big, nearly flat "canopies" for this purpose. More effective than just adding length.
