up thrust ..

i have a hirobo stream (35 sized patern model) with a 46fx os in it .. The plane was designed to have ~ 7 degreez of right thrust... after modyfying the mounts to fit the plane, I now also ended up with about 5-7 degreez of up thrust .... how will this affect flight characteristics ? should i go through the hassel of redoing the mount installation ? or will this not be overly noticeable in flight ?

thanx

The effect should be that you need to compensate the Up thrust by doown elevator trim at full power, and your plane should go down when you cut the throttle, which he would do naturally anyway !

To say it differently, it should make your trim pitch settings very sensitive to throttle changes. In one word: NOT GOOD !

Cowling

Personally, I would leave the cowling alone and offset from the firewall back. You might need a longer tailwheel though.
