how to determine cg on swept wing

working on details for a scratch jet project. it will look like the bvm bobcat or yellow stingray. a symetrical swept wing as is most jets. and a fuse center section that when viewed from top view will look alot like a delta wing plane with intragal rudders outboard of the fuse center line about 6 inches to each side. total of two rudders with elevator between like a ov10 bronco.. hope you get the picture.

how can i get a safe starting point on the cg and not sacrafice a turbine trying it out.

See:

for a program that calculates the mean Aerodynamic Chord (MAC). The placement of the CG on the MAC depends on the tail volume coefficient. For configurations with typical tail moment arms (in multiples of MAC) and tail areas (as a percentqge of wing area) a safe place for the CG, in order to begin flight testing, is at about 28 to 30 % of the MAC. This will probably result in moving the CG aft some to get the desired handling qualities.
