Tailplane Airfoil???

Hey,

Just scratch building a C152 and just thinking of the airfoil for the fin and stablizer. What pertcentage of chord should the max chamber be at? Should it be like a normal wing airfoil (30%)?

A number of cargo aircraft have tailplanes that have negative camber. I'd suggest there is more than one question that applies if you're trying for a true to scale airplane. If you are, then the thickness and direction of the camber is also part of the deal. If you're not going for every detail being scale, then simply going with a symmetrical with .3C for the location of max thickness ought to work ok.

Woulden't use a naca, they are horrible at low reynolds number. Try a JR or Selig 10-15% uncambered. Just use yahoo to find them.
