Motor Thrust Help

1 Attachment(s)
Hi All,
Designed a FFF wing with dual vert stabs and a horz. stab on top connecting all three. Motor is mounted on horz. stab facing forward. Prop runs at cg line. CG found with glide test minus 10 ounces of unneccasary weight. Center of prop is 6" above wing. Using elevons for control.
Should I have motor upthrust or downthrust?
Right or left thrust?
Any idea how much?
How much does a sea wind have?
Here's some photos.

Thanks NNA

RE: Motor Thrust Help

With such a high thrust line right at the CG you're going to need a heap of upthrust to help counteract the strong nose down effect. It sounds like a lot but I'd start with about 6 to 7 degrees of upthrust and don't be surprised if you need more.

Once you get it flying right it'll look sweet in the air. Love the looks...Got a real Sci-fi look to it :)
