Reducing the dihedral in a trainer

My friend gave me his big Hobbico trainer,
He crashed it but I just repared the wing and installed a new servo.
Before I put the wings together I'd like to reduce the dihedral to something close to the Avistar.
Can someone give me any info on what to expect from this wing mod?

Reducing the dihedral in a trainer

less stability/less tendacy to self correct when banked, les effective rudder reponse in the air but thw airlerons will be a tad more effective and at some point close to no dihedral begin producing adverse yaw i believe that was one set back of the ugly stick series of planes and slight dihedral was added to fix this condition
