Addendum: .46-.61 Edge 540T
Update for The latest .46-.61 Edge 540T.
We have found the 4-40 hardware for the engine motor mount and the main landing gear to be the wrong size. They were to be 6-32 hardware but came over as 4-40. So if you have one of the newest Edges between 01/07 to todays date please call us so we can sent you the updated 6-32 hardware. Here is a link to the info! [link=http://www.aero-works.net/upload/manual/46-61_edge_addendum.pdf]Addendum Link[/link]
Sorry for any Inconviance this may cause.

Hello,
We found this is a problem as the 4-40s that came with the kit are to small for the motor mount to bolt to the firewall and for the main landing gear.....The 4-40s were put in there by mistake...if you have any questions please feel free to give me a call tomorrow at 303-366-4205

Hey John:
I received my upgrade parts in the mail last week. I found that the #6-32 bolts are too long for the engine mount application. They extend about .3" past back of the T-nuts in the firewall, interfering with the tank installation. I cut mine off at .7" length and they end-up flush with the back of the T-nut (I'm using a lock washer and a flat washer on the bolt head, which add-up to about .065" thickness).

RE: Addendum: .46-.61 Edge 540T
I called on Friday to have the parts sent to me and when I got home from work on Monday the parts were there!!!
I found that you need to cut the top two bolts down about 1/4" so they do puncture the tank. Forunately I had saved the tank installation for last or I might have ended up punching a hole through the tank when I put the new bolts in. The other thing I noticed is that I had to enlarge the holes in the motor mount slightly so the larger bolts would allow the motor mount to slide back an forth on the bolt to allow proper positioning of the mounts.
This was my first plane form AreoWorks and because I was impressed with the quality I purchased the 50cc Extra. I have a DA 100 looking for a home so if I can figure out a way to convince the boss that I absolutley need another plane then I will order either the 100cc Yak or the Extra. I have a great idea - why don't you put them on sale then I can tell the boss that I can save all this money if I buy the plane on sale. She uses that logic on me so I don't see why it won't work for me too.
Thanks for the great custome support.
